About Studio 5
Welcome to Studio 5. We are a new Boutique Portrait Studio located in the heart of Renmore on the east side of Galway City. The purpose of Studio 5 is to offer clients a unique and memorable portrait experience and to produce top quality, stylish and artistic, framed wall portraits that will enhance the home and be treasured for generations.
Joe Mc Hugh is a full-time professional photographer and has been making photographs, with passionate enthusiasm, all his life. He is an award-winning member of the Irish Professional Photographers Association (IPPA). Creating family and children's portraits, in the controlled environment of the studio, has been his real passion and Studio 5 is the result of this drive.
The Studio
Studio 5 is set in a private and secluded part of Renmore and has ample parking outside. The studio itself, which is located on the first floor, is fully equipped with top quality studio lighting. It also has excellent natural light.
Your Portrait Experience:
In order to ensure you get your perfect family portrait and to give you an outstanding level of service, we follow a four stage process.
1. The Consultation - This entails a brief visit to the studio where we discuss the style of portrait you like, your preferred family groupings and how you want the finished portrait to look. We will also discuss practicalities such as clothing for the shoot.
2. The Session - With your end product in mind, we set about capturing the images that will fulfill your vision of your family portrait.
3. The Design Appointment - We aim to present about 20 images on our viewing screen from which, together, we will design your final product layout.
4. The Collection - Here you get to collect your finished framed images, ready to hang, which will enhance your home and delight you for years.
A portrait session costs €50 and framed prints range in size from 24" square down to 8". There are also a number of collections available which offer several display possibilities.
